Mr. Zouk, aka Justin Hernderson, and his partner Illiana are the most relaxed Zouk dancers you'll ever see. Their speciality is effortlessly flowing through their Zouk moves and grooves. This class focuses on relaxing into your Zouk motions and patterns, which includes how to develop partner trust.

The pre video shows Mr. Zouk and Mimi La Mariposa teaching the Nashville's Top Performers their Zouk routine in a local dance contest.

Justin Henderson and Iliana Armstrong

Nashville Zouk Nouveau Justin Henderson, aka "Mr. Zouk," has been Latin dancing since 2009 and began Zouk studies in 2011. For Justin and Zouk, it was love at first sight. Justin has led a weekly Zouk class for the last two years and has taught more students than anyone else in Nashville. Last year, Iliana and Justin joined forces and since then, they command the Zouk dance floor! With Justin's hilariously-entertaining teaching style and Iliana's gracefulness, they make Zouk an awe-inspiring, FUN adventure. Iliana Armstrong moved to Columbia, Maryland at the age of nine with her family in pursuite of a dance career in ballet. One of the first to be selected for a pre-professional program at The Kennedy Center, Iliana began her training under Suzanne Farrell with Dance Theatre of Harlem Pre-Professional Residency. It was evident, even though a late bloomer, Iliana was a natural dancer and a quick study. She continued training in this program for four years and...

~Free Workshop Registration is required to ensure your comfort and safety. Please, create an NDC/NSC website account by clicking on “Register” in the top menu. If you have purchased a show ticket or social dance pass, you already created a login through your email.

~Once you are registered with the Nashville Dance Congress, you can click on your favorite free classes and reserve your spot, as space permits. Class registration is located at the bottom of the workshop page.

~When you arrive, please first visit the NDC/NSC Registration Desk to get your wristband. All event attendees have wristbands. Event Staff will check you in before class. At 5 minutes before class begins, folks who have not pre-registered will be allowed to fill available spots. All classes are closed on the hour.
