Cuban Salsa (Casino) is a circular form of salsa that is danced on all 8 counts. The partners move around each other throughout an entire song while playing with body, arm and leg positions. Focused heavily on Musicality, Cuban Salsa can introduce other Cuban dance styles, such as Son and Rumba, into the dance as the music changes. This class will focus on a dancer’s ability to maintain constant movement and interaction, while adjusting to how the music changes. We will teach advanced patterns that will challenge balance, direction and timing.

~Once you are registered with the Nashville Dance Congress, you can click on your favorite free classes and reserve your spot, as space permits. Class registration is located at the bottom of the workshop page.
~When you arrive, please first visit the NDC/NSC Registration Desk to get your wristband. All event attendees have wristbands. Event Staff will check you in before class. At 5 minutes before class begins, folks who have not pre-registered will be allowed to fill available spots. All classes are closed on the hour.
