Lola Monet, "Queen Beatz," is the leading AfroHouse, Kizomba, Tarraxinha, Afro beatz, and Afro rhythms party stomper!  She is the owner and founder of Rhythm & Beatz Dance Company in Los Angeles, California.  Lola teaches and performs salsa, bachata, banda, chacha, merengue, cumbia, ballroom show dance, hip-hop, dancehall, kizomba, semba, afro and tarraxinha. Her primary emphasis is on loving oneself through self-expression in dance, rhythm, and the art of connection.  Lola colloaborates with Roger Milan as her main dance partner. Lola Monet's dance rhythms stem from her parents' origins.  Lola's father is Nigerian and her mother is white, black and Indian. Her dance studies began at four years old and when she was only six, she began performing on stage as a praise dancer at church and expanding her talents into modern, lyrical, cheer, and tumbling.  At the age of 16, Lola received her first big gig as a hip-hop dancer for the Los Ange...

~Free Workshop Registration is required to ensure your comfort and safety. Please, create an NDC/NSC website account by clicking on “Register” in the top menu. If you have purchased a show ticket or social dance pass, you already created a login through your email.

~Once you are registered with the Nashville Dance Congress, you can click on your favorite free classes and reserve your spot, as space permits. Class registration is located at the bottom of the workshop page.

~When you arrive, please first visit the NDC/NSC Registration Desk to get your wristband. All event attendees have wristbands. Event Staff will check you in before class. At 5 minutes before class begins, folks who have not pre-registered will be allowed to fill available spots. All classes are closed on the hour.
