Lola Monet

Lola Monet, "Queen Beatz," is the leading AfroHouse, Kizomba, Tarraxinha, Afro beatz, and Afro rhythms party stomper!  She is the owner and founder of Rhythm & Beatz Dance Company in Los Angeles, California.  Lola teaches and performs salsa, bachata, banda, chacha, merengue, cumbia, ballroom show dance, hip-hop, dancehall, kizomba, semba, afro and tarraxinha. Her primary emphasis is on loving oneself through self-expression in dance, rhythm, and the art of connection.  Lola colloaborates with Roger Milan as her main dance partner.

Lola Monet's dance rhythms stem from her parents' origins.  Lola's father is Nigerian and her mother is white, black and Indian. Her dance studies began at four years old and when she was only six, she began performing on stage as a praise dancer at church and expanding her talents into modern, lyrical, cheer, and tumbling.  At the age of 16, Lola received her first big gig as a hip-hop dancer for the Los Angeles County Cutie Pies as a background dancer for artists like J-O ,felony, Snoop, Kurupt, and Nate dogg.   At 18, Lola began touring and performing as a professional hip-hop dancer, model, and actress with Diamond Star Entertainment through whom she guest-starred with Nick Jr., Nickelodean, MTV, BET, Fox, ABC, Clown/ Krunk TV, and Soul Train. Throughout her hip-hop career, Lola has danced and choreographed with Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx, 3LW, Bernie Mac, Wendy Robertson, Steve Harvey, AJ Johnson, Sean Combs, Tia & Tamara Mowry, Tommy & Larry the clown, Megan Good, Michael Callier, and Pretty Ricky.

Having enjoyed a beautiful life in hip-hop and it's related genres, Lola Monet sought development in Latin dances where she has become successful in earning many titles.
